Game On Halo 3 - 2v2 Tournament
Game On is holding a Halo 3 2v2 tournament. With just the right mix of "MLG style" and "Classic" style game types and maps, both ametuer and pro can pick up a controller, play, be challenged and have fun. So bring your team-mates, and bring you BR!
The Rundown:
When: Sunday August 30, 10am-4pm
Where: Game On Interactive, Miranda (Sydney)
Entry Cost: $20 per person
Format: Halo 3 2v2 Tournament
Equipment: All equipment (TVs, xboxes, controllers, games) are provided. Feel free to bring your own controllers, just make sure everything is clearly marked as being your property.
Prizes: First Prize - Winning team shares $200 cash!
Doors open at 9am, with the tournament starting at 10am on the dot. The tournament will finish by 3-4pm depending on the number of entrants. Those attending who don't make the finals can play till 3pm at no extra cost. Stick around for some big team Halo 3 action, or try out another of Game On's expanding collection of Xbox 360 games.

GAMETYPES:
The gametypes will be a mixture of slayer and objective games, on the original and Heroic maps. This will make sure everyone has a great time, but that the cream rises to the top.

GETTING HERE:
Where: Game On Interactive
Address: Shop 1, 591, The Kingsway, Miranda (Sutherland Shire area) (near Westfield Shoppingtown Miranda, opposite Miranda Hotel)
Public Transport:
Refer to the Cityrailwebsite for the Train Timetable.
1) You'll have to catch a train that is on the 'Illawarra' line (marked blue on the city rail map)
2) The train to catch is marked as a 'Cronulla' Train. Catch this train ONLY. DO NOT catch a train marked Waterfall or Dapto.
3) Once on the train, get off at 'Miranda' train station. It is about a 45 minute ride from Central station.
Walking from Miranda Station:
Once you are out of the station, walk up Kiora Road. You should be passing Westfield Shoppingtown. At the first big intersection, take a LEFT onto 'The Kingsway'. Then cross the road so you are on the opposite side from where the Westfield is located. You should be able to see Game On Interactive from there. It is opposite Miranda Hotel / Carmens Nightclub (grey/dark blue building).
